Chargers Revealed!!

Winnipeg, MB - In a press conference earlier this afternoon, after weeks of anticipation, it was announced that the Winnipeg Chargers would start playing football next week. The Chargers unveiled the new football stadium - the Thunderdome as well as introducing new head coach Ryan Betesta to the football world.

"I'm very excited for everything that is going on right now. We have a great bunch of guys together who will make a terrific football team and I am looking forward to hitting the field and starting our quest," Ryan Betesta.

A seasoned offensive co-ordinator, Ryan Betesta has won numerous championships including back to back conference titles with the Richmond Raiders, a conference title with the Blacksburg Ballers and league titles with the Sao Paulo Jaguars and the Arctic Bay Yetis. He's learned the tricks of the trade from some of the best and will now test his hand at running the whole show.

The star-studded roster was released this afternoon with such extraordinary talent including the first player to sign a Chargers contract, WR Lovell Joy. Joy played college ball with the college champions Las Vegas Blue Jays alongside Ryan Betesta's son, Ryan Betesta II. Both WR's should have a dominant career and add a lot of explosive to the Chargers offense.

Other collegiate standouts include DE Chad Kelsay, HB Joffrey Reynolds, CB Peekaboo I See You, LB Derrick V Thomas, FB Mike Sellers, FS Louie Ballhawk and QB Drew Tate. Many of the players won collegiate awards and will definitely looking to make an impact in the future.

The Chargers will kick some action next week as they make their debut in the Canadian BBB #14 league as they begin their quest to Canada Pro. Look for bright things in the future of this young organization.
